Builder in Flinders, Shoreham, Merricks and Balnarring

Building on the Western Port coast and rural acreage

This part of the Peninsula is open farmland, vineyards, clifftops and coastal bush, and the homes built here are often architect-designed and sited for long views across Western Port and Bass Strait. Exposure is a major factor: strong winds and salt air on the coast, and open, unsheltered sites inland.

Much of the area is rural land under Green Wedge zoning, with bushfire, landscape and environmental controls on many properties. These shape where and how a home can be sited, what construction standards apply and what services the site needs, from water storage to on-site wastewater. We plan for all of it with your design team before construction starts.

Questions from Flinders and Merricks owners

What does bushfire rating mean for our build?

Your site's bushfire assessment sets the construction standard, which affects things like glazing, cladding, decking and roofing. We price to that standard from the start so there are no surprises.

Our site is remote. Is that a problem?

Not for us. We plan access, deliveries and services early and keep you updated throughout, wherever you are based.
